Attend a Fundraiser
To supplement levy funds, United Way, 317 Board and the Area Agency on Aging funding, and any additional grants obtained, fundraisers are held monthly. These include: craft sales, Chinese Auction, Ice Cream Social, Yard Sales, Cruise-In, booth at Fair, etc.
 
Rent our Facility
The Senior Center Facility can be rented on weekends for functions such as wedding receptions, birthday parties and anniversary parties.
 
Volunteer
There are many ways to Volunteer at the center. We need telephone reassurance /outreach workers, people to answer the telephone, help with dinners, fundraisers and volunteer instructors.
 
Grant Funding
Scenic Hills Center is funded (in part) by a Title III grant of the Older Americans Act administered by the by the Ohio Department of Aging through the Area Agency on Aging. Local funds provided by the local levy, United Way, 317 Board, grants, fundraising activities, and donations.
