By signing-up through this volunteer effort- you will be covered under insurance during your volunteer hours as well as receive a small gas stipend.  Please let Janet know of your interest in the program at 385-6614.

You will need to keep a sheet with all information on a monthly basis and turn this in promptly at the conclusion of each month.(forms at center)

Volunteers help keep the center going strong!  We always need volunteers for the following areas at Scenic Hills:

•    Cooking for dinners and fundraisers
•    Servers for large dinners (150+)
•    Assembly of food orders for fundraisers
•    Collecting money for food/tickets/raffles at fundraisers
•    Soliciting for trophies for Cruise-In
•    Soliciting for sponsoring advertising for all events
•    answering phones and taking messages
•    outreach- calling seniors who live alone to check on them
•    instructing classes for individuals 55+ on a hobby or interest
•    Volunteers can be utilized in other areas of the community also such as:  Meals-on-Wheels, HVCH, the Welcome Center and more….
